The waist sizes quoted are the unstretched measurement, seems small...BUT there is another at least 8 inches of stretch to work with. These pull on...so the waist will stretch out sufficiently to go over ones bottom and hips.Please note that these trousers are designed to be rolled up, but if you prefer them long to ankles, just dont roll them up!
