Style Notes:
It takes a long time to produce this colour by clay dyeing. First the silk is dyed with a tannin rich root plant. Then this is mixed with iron rich clay, and drying outdoors in the sun and wind. This process is repeated many times, and finally stored from 6 months to years. This process is a natural representative of SOH, characterised by its unique breathability, gloss and texture.The fabric is also antibacterial effects and has UV blocking properties.
