The 'Boss' Lady

After over 32 years, I should be bored with all this Fashion stuff....but I absolutely love my job...I love the customers and the clothes, more than ever. The ever changing seasons bring amazing new designs, and it is this constant change that I enjoy so much. I am always so happy to hear from all our worldwide customers...so do please keep in touch. I have my iphone and ipad beside me constantly...even when on holiday, and I will answer you at anytime during my waking hours. If I hear my phone ping, I even will wake up from my sleep! How is that for customer service!!!

A little bit about my "style" as lots of our customers identify with us, if they have a similar body shape...so my body shape can only be described as "apple" shaped.

I am 5'4" tall(160cm), and I wear Rundholz One Size tops, and size XL "Best Ever" trousers. I am quite rotund...but also quite fit. I swim around 800 mts every day, and cycle a couple of hundred miles a month on my trike. So all this exercise, plus also an active outdoors life with the dogs, means my clothing needs to be capable of moving around with me....and also washable, stretchy, and also VERY important to me, the same sort of stuff than my slimmer confederates wear. (I dont want to buy from any store that just caters for "fatties")

I rarely need to "dress up" but when the occasion arises, I simply ensure I have a newer top, with newer trousers! My look more or less remains the same, whatever I am doing!

One tip...I always wear slightly narrow at the calf cropped trousers. My ankles are a positive asset...and my profile works better when they are showing. Long leg trousers make me look "blocky" to the ground. I've experimented with endless long trousers, and they are a big "no no" for me.

I am passionate about "proportion" and "tone" and also ensuring the right shape is on the right person...and with 25 years working personally with clients in my renowned city centre store, I feel my knowledge of body shape and clothing to suit is considerable.

My buyers 'eye' and sense of style is what has seen Walkers grow beyond my original dreams, and having trained my team to keep an open mind, to think differently and to take chances where other buyers dare not. the future of Walkers as I approach my mid sixties is assured.
